This National Champion colt and gorgeous hunter pony prospect is by our stallion Alvesta Picasso. His full brother, Offside, is a multiple Canadian National and Supreme Champion on the Welsh Pony circuit. Kody's other full brother, Daventry's Breakaway, was nearly undefeated on the Welsh Pony Circuit and is showing in the pony hunters in New Hampshire.
Kody comes from a long line of successful hunter ponies. His full brothers in blood, Jumpin' Jack Flash and Glannant Jackpot, are successful pony hunters down on the US East Coast hunter circuit. Kody's sire, Alvesta Picasso, has been on the USEF Leading Pony Hunter Sire List for many years, was named the 2009 WPCSC Leading Section B Welsh Pony Sire and is Farnley Lustre bred. His dam, Pajon's Royal Flirt, is by the imported *Rosedale Royal Flare, who has produced several successful pony hunters down in the US. Among them, Dreamworks, Bear Necessities and Top Zone 9 medium pony, Butterscotch Sundae.
Kody won the 2010 Alberta Section B Welsh Weanling Futurity and overall Grand Champion Section B Stallion at his first show at one month of age! He's an exceptional mover, has a sweet temperament and a heart of gold! He is extremely social and aims to please. He was the 2010 WPCSC Canadian National Champion Section B Welsh Colts 2 & Under and was also shown successfully in the Sport Pony Shows in 2011 with several Sport Pony Grand Championships. He is eligible for our yearly Foal Incentive Program. To date, he is the only Alvesta Picasso intact colt ever offered for sale.
